We’re less than a month away now from WordCamp Kelowna, and it’s shaping up to be a pretty exciting event.
The majority of the speakers will be announced over the next week. We’re still waiting for confirmation from a couple speakers, and once those come in we’ll update all the pages and hopefully finalize the schedule.
We’re really looking forward to September 11th — we have a great lineup, and I’m sure everyone will have a great time. We’ll do a few more announcements before the event, so check back here next week for updates.

The WordCamp Kelowna sponsorship section is now open. If you’re a business that would like to be a part of WordCamp Kelowna, we’d definitely love to have you on board as a sponsor. Sponsorship allows us to keep ticket prices low, and appeal to a larger audience. Plus, we get to ramp the event up with each new sponsor, hopefully adding a fun social and maybe a few surprises to the mix.

Ok, so this is just a starting point for the WordCamp Kelowna website.
Kelowna, BC is a beautiful city that is part of the Okanagan valley, home to a fair size high tech industry as well as a nice wine industry.
Deciding to host a WordCamp in Kelowna just seemed the right thing to do, so we are doing it.
